Assignment 1 (2nd edition) : Why do I choose the Computer science?

Computer is attractive, and I think it is the main reason to let me major in computer science. When I was a 5-year child, there were some computers at home, and they were my older brother's. I usually saw what my brother what he did in front of computer. Therefore, I had an impression about computer.

During my computer-learning, there have other reasons to let me decide to major computer science. First, computer is useful for my future life. After I experienced PC-games, Internet, HTML……and so forth, I thought they are interesting and useful, and computer will be more powerful in the future. Just like the search engine and the messenger, it brings us the convenience in our lives. Therefore, if I can learn about the techniques about computer, just like database or network, maybe I can develop new software to let people feel more efficient. Second, computer is one of the most important tools in our lives. In the world, there are more and more people enter the area of Internet. If I have the professional knowledge about computer, I can have an advantageous position in the society.

Now I'm a sophomore in the department of CSIE. I have learned some professional courses, and I think I will major Computer Science continually. I hope that I can have a powerful ability to programming or designing. After all, computer science is the major what I wanted to learn during my life.
